About
K A T I A P E R S H I N is a portrait photographer and visual artist whose work spans fine art, commercial, and television photography.
Her practice is rooted in human emotion, vulnerability, and the expressive capacity of the body, with a focus on intimate nude portraiture. Drawing from a background in music and mental health counseling, she approaches image-making as a form of personal narrative—imbued with psychological depth and a sensitivity that renders each image both raw and deliberate.
Alongside her fine art practice, Pershin has contributed to television and commercial productions as a host photographer, creating on-set and promotional imagery defined by visual storytelling and thoughtful composition. Her work also extends into fashion, where she has covered runway shows and produced fashion editorials and campaigns for designers. She's been published in Papercut Magazine, Vigore Magazine, Institute Magazine, Element Magazine, and Press The Fashion.
Her current practice moves toward a distilled exploration of the nude form, paired with layered glass presentations that shift the image into a spatial, scuptural experience—where perception, body, and surface quietly dissolve into one another.
